Online Workshop: Painting a Fall Still Life
Online Workshop: Painting a Fall Still Life
A still life is a painting (or drawing) made up of mostly inanimate objects. These things can be natural (such as flowers, vegetables, rocks and shells) or man-made (such as glass, books, vases and coins). But how does a bunch of things make a painting? And how should these items be arranged?
This online workshop will look at the unique characteristics ofa still life painting, and how still life paintings differ from other types of artwork. Then, we will use watercolor paints to create our own autumn-themed still life (yes, there will be a pumpkin!).
It’s designed for all levels of painters, including beginners. After registration, participants will receive informational materials. The zoom link will be sent out a day or two prior to the workshop.
Registration for this workshop is through Follow Your Art.
