Adding Light & Texture with White Watercolor Paint
Adding Light & Texture with White Watercolor Paint
The difference between a good painting and a great painting often has to do with the values of the colors used in that artwork. Value refers to the lightness and the darkness of the color… and how you weave light, medium and dark values throughout your painting.
This online workshop will examine different ways to use white watercolor, including how to mix with it and how to use it for highlights.
While this workshop can be taken separately, it is recommended that you pair it with my upcoming workshop, “Dark Pigments Done Right: How to Elevate Your Watercolors Without Black Paint” on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025.
This workshop is appropriate for both beginners and more experienced painters. You will receive information and a materials list after you sign up. The zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the workshop.
