Dark Pigments Done Right: How to Elevate Your Watercolors Without Black Paint
Dark Pigments Done Right: How to Elevate Your Watercolors Without Black Paint
The difference between a good painting and a great painting often has to do with the values of the colors used in that artwork. Value refers to the lightness and the darkness of the color… and how you weave light, medium and dark values throughout your painting.
This online workshop will focus on the various ways to mix dark values and when to use which mixtures.
While this workshop can be taken separately, it is recommended that you pair it with my upcoming workshop, “Adding Light & Texture with White Watercolor Paint” on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025.
This workshop is appropriate for both beginners and more experienced painters. You will receive information and a materials list after you sign up. The zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the workshop.
