There are so many ways that watercolor paintings can be adapted into the fabric and furnishings and accessories. A California-based company has used two of my flower paintings to create these beautiful silk scarves… and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

The DOGWOOD scarf is printed on silk habotai fabric. This is a very soft Japanese silk with a plain weave and smooth texture. “Habotai” literally means “feather-two-layers” and it refers to this silk with a soft, supple hand and a lustrous sheen. The sides of the scarf are all hemmed.
